High Prairie Yaks (HPY) is located north of Elizabeth, Colorado and a short 30 minutes from Denver.

At HPY we raise and breed high quality Yaks for many uses. These animals are handled daily producing very social, friendly, curious, unique loving animals.

We are a dual-family owned and operated Yak ranch. We raise superior healthy and hand-tame animals. We are the home of the 2006 NWSS Grand Champion Yak Bull, as well as the
2007 NWSS Reserve Grand Champion Yak Bull.
